Duties towards Parents Essay & Paragraph

A human child is born in the most helpless condition. At that condition it cannot save itself from peril or feed itself. It is the parents who feed us, clothe us, shelter us and save us from danger when we are young. They also spend for our education and other necessities. Our parents pass many sleepless nights when we fall sick. They try to do everything possible for ensuring comfort and safety for us. In consideration of the supreme sacrifice, love, and compassion of our parents towards us, we also have some duties to them. Our first and foremost duty towards our parents is to obey them. We ought to carry out their orders and forbiddances. We should treat them with honor and love them dearly. We should take care of them when they fall sick. When our parents become old, they need us most. If we find our parents in their old age, it is our duty to serve them devotedly and arrange for every comfort for them. At that time they are in need of our company and sympathy. We should pass time with them, listen attentively to what they say, and remove boredom from their life. We have duties towards our parents even when they die. It is our duty to arrange for the proper burial or cremation of our parents according to our respective faith and religious rites when they are dead. We should also pray for the salvation of their departed souls. Our parents’ live brought us to this world. They have raised us with utmost care. They are the most sincere well-wishers of us on earth. They love us dearly and are ready to go any sacrifice required for our well-being. So, we should also try to do our duties towards them.
