Introduction: A moonlit night is certainly very charming. The pleasure becomes boundless if it is a night with a full moon. Legend says that Buddha left his house and became a hermit in response to the call of the full moon on such a night. It is a popular notion that people leave the house and become hermits on such nights. I personally think it to be possible because a night of full moon has such wild attraction and incomparable beauty that it can make anybody feel himself to be a part of nature and an ardent passion in him to be dissolved in nature.

Description of Moonlit Night: I have the experience of enjoying such a night in a very special way. It was winter. I went to my grandparents’ house to attend my maternal uncle’s wedding ceremony. My grandparents lived in a very remote area of Bangladesh where there was neither electricity nor any good road communication facility. On the day of the wedding, I started for the bride’s house in the afternoon as a member of the bridegroom’s party. The bride’s house was a long way from my grandparents’ house. The journey took about three hours on the rickshaw. The wedding ceremony started long after sunset when we reached the bride’s house. A big crowd was there. Everybody was in a hurry and in a jubilant mood. Suddenly I felt certain loneliness in that crowd. I went outside to the empty village road to have a promenade. I was walking in the darkness and suddenly I looked at the sky and found the moon rising. There was already a dense fog, which lit up in the moonlight. I kept walking for a long time and when I returned I found our party taking preparation for the return journey. It was already past midnight when we started with the bride among us. There was nobody on the roads except us on that moonlit night. The houses, trees, fields — everything was covered in dense fog and looked mysterious in the moonlit. The sight appeared extraordinary to me. It seemed to me as if I were on a different planet. I kept enjoying that heavenly beauty to my heart’s content. Our caravan of rickshaws proceeded slowly along the empty roads. The roads ran among extensive green fields. At last, we reached my grandparents’ house. When we were entering the house we heard the call for Fajr prayer being announced from the nearby mosque. I was still in a reverie.

Conclusion: The night was an extraordinary experience for me. It will remain ever fresh in my mind in the days to come.

A Stormy Night Paragraph

In 160 words, for class 5 to 10

A stormy night is a painful experience. Suppose you have had a torturing experience of a stormy night. Now write a paragraph on a stormy night focusing its abuses and evil forces.

A stormy night is a dreadful night especially in the coastal areas and in the off-shore islands. In the dark night the storm hits the place like a monster. In the coastal areas the tidal bore rises up to a height of twenty feet and washes many lives and property. Many people become homeless, shelter-less and lose their near and dear ones. Sometimes flashes of lightening also strike a man to death. So, a stormy night is a night of curse. Personally I had a bitter experience of a stormy night. It was the event of 29th April, 2004. This stormy night was full of natural terrorism. The stormy weather was blowing all over the Chittagong region and I along with my family was at Muradpur under Paslaish Thana. This area was totally stormed and we got badly afraid of our lives and lots. However, after the end of the night, the crude condition of the storm totally ended and we sighed happily.
